Raketa Ouedraogo-thomas, Ph.d.
Dr. Raketa Ouedraogo-Thomas brings nearly 20 years of experience in education, spanning classroom teaching, curriculum leadership, and district and state-level equity work. Born into the Mossi tribe of Burkina Faso and fluent in French and English, her international upbringing and professional experiences across California and North Carolina shape her perspective on education and equity. Dr. Ouedraogo-Thomas holds a Ph.D. in Education for Social Justice from the University of San Diego, where her research explored systemic and dispositional factors impacting historically disenfranchised schools. Grounded in practice and committed to purpose, learning, and impact, she continues to grow as a researcher while fostering equity, collaboration, and intentionality to drive transformative change.
