National African American Read-In
The Charlotte Mecklenburg Library is partnering up with the Urban Education Collaborative at UNC Charlotte to host a Read-In to celebrate the National African American Read-In. This is a virtual event that will feature some amazing local authors reading their books, and will also feature stories from a few students from Communities in Schools Charlotte, at Westerly Hills Academy. Please register for the event here. The week of the event, all that are registered will receive a zoom link for the event and instructions for when to log on. We will also share resources and information on the authors after the event, to whatever email address you registered with. Please forward this information to your families. We hope to see you there!
