Urban Education Collaborative Assistant Director wins College of Education Award

Dr. Stephen Hancock, Assistant Director of The Urban Education Collaborative, was recently named the winner of the UNC Charlotte College of Education Diversity Award. This award is given to one outstanding, full time faculty member who exemplifies the goals outlined in the COED’s Diversity Commitment statement*. The recipient will display a deep commitment to diversity, demonstrate creativity/ innovation in a variety of domains, and sustain a positive impact on the university and community constituencies.
